Doctor Who viewers from all over the UK have been reporting that they have received their orders of The Web of Fear Special Edition DVD early with the first reports of delivery on August 11th, 2021. This new DVD release is scheduled to be out on Monday August 16th in the UK with no firm release date in the US. This Patrick Troughton, Jamie, Victoria and Lethbridge-Stewart story from 1968 has always remained missing the third of it's six episodes, presumed wiped. This missing episode has been restored with new animation.
